Under Current Recirculating Deep Water Culture Hydroponic System

Under Current Recirculating Deep Water Culture Hydroponic System On YouTube.

Under Current 6XL 13 gallon buckets with 40 inch centers by Current Culture Hydroponics. Some tents, some music, some lights and a timed demonstration of nutrient dilution throughout the under current system using 200ml of House & Garden's Algen Extract. It took only three minutes and thirty seconds to fully circulate through over 75 gallons of water. This is large part because unlike conventional hydroponics applications which use centralized positive pressure to deliver nutrients the Under Current utilizes peripheral negative pressure to recirculate a highly oxygenated nutrient solution throughout the system. This perpetual fluid motion supercharges the nutrients with dissolved oxygen creating hyper aerobic conditions perfect for explosive plant growth. This system is under 2 600 watt radiant 6s powered by Galaxy Digital ballasts. The room is sealed and supplemented with co2. A Sentinel MDT-1, HPH-4, and CHCC-1 control the atmosphere and power. Water is provided by a carbon and sediment filter plumbed to a float valve in the systems epicenter. The water is cooled by a 1/4hp Oceanic aquarium chiller.
